Dacoits looted goods worth millions of rupees in a robbery they committed in a rice mill located in the limits of Vanike Tarar police station in Hafizabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to police, six robbers entered the mill by breaking wall, they tied the guard with ropes, tortured him and escaped from crime scene after looting goods worth millions of rupees.

Police said that this is the second major incident of robbery by a gang of dacoits in a few days.

Due to successive incidents of robberies, fear and panic spread in the area and citizens appealed to IG Punjab to take notice.
