A man, his son and his daughter drowned in the Indus River in the Attock district.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the family from a local village was on a picnic when the incident occurred.

The man’s wife cried for help and the rescuers rushed to the spot. They rescued the man, identified as Khurram Shehzad, alive.

The rescuers retrieved the body of Khurram’s 17-year-old son, Shaheer, but they could not find the 11-year-old daughter of Khurram as they had to halt the rescue operation due to darkness.
