An old man has tortured his daughter-in-law to death over a domestic dispute in Khanpur on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The incident took place in Chak 86 of Sahja police station.

According to police, 38-year-old Shabana was tortured and killed by her father-in-law Sadiq.

The family sources said that deceased Shabana was mother of four children and her husband is based in Lahore for job purpose.

After committing the crime, the accused escaped from the scene.

The dead body of the deceased has been shifted to Tehsil Headquarters hospital for post-mortem.
