PM’s security beefed up after agencies report assassination plot: Fawad

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Friday said that the security of Prime Minister Imran Khan had been enhanced to avert the possible assassination of him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The federal minister maintained that reports of the security agencies had unveiled a plot of the prime minister’s assassination.
“Following these reports, the government has decided to beef up the security of the prime minister,” he added.

It merits mentioning that the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) appears to have been struggling very hard for its survival after the submission of the no-confidence motion by the opposition.
The much talked about no-confidence motion has now been turned into a political controversy with the prime minister terming it a foreign-imported conspiracy.
