Vaccination is in top gear as 30-million mark crossed: Asad Umar

Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has disclosed that the number of coronavirus vaccinations in Pakistan has crossed the 30 million mark, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet uploaded on Sunday, the federal minister further said that the first 10 million vaccinations took 114 days, the second 10 million 28 days and the third 10 million vaccinations were achieved in just 16 days.

The vaccination pace was in top gear, Asad Umar said and added all six days this week were a record and nearly a million people were vaccinated only on Saturday.
Pakistan has crossed 3 crore vaccinations. The first crore took 113 days. The second 28 days and the 3rd only 16 days. Pace has rapidly increased. All 6 days this week were a record. 9 lakh 34 thousand vaccinations yesterday . In last 6 days 5 million vaccinations were done.

The National Command and Operation Centre also tweeted the number of people vaccinated yesterday, confirming what the federal minister has said.
