Former KPK minister Shaukat Yousafzai reaches Jeddah

Pakistan Tehrik e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai has reached Jeddah Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

After reaching Jeddah, former provincial minister KPK shared his pictures on social media.

Releasing his pictures from Jeddah he said that he reached Jeddah for performing Umrah.

Reportedly, police conducted raids on the residence of Shaukat Yousafzai on July 21 to arrest him. Neither he was in Peshawar nor at his ancestral home in Basham.

According to police, the cases have been registered against former provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai on charges of violence and vandalism.

Shaukat Yousafzai is wanted by the police for the May 9 incidents.

After the May 9 incident, many former ministers, including Shaukat Yousafzai, have gone into hiding. The police are conducting raids to arrest them.
