Hunters go wild: Officials tortured over attempt to prevent illegal hunting

Three government officials sustained serious injuries as gunmen attacked a team at Margalla Hills National Park, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

A team of Islamabad and Punjab Wildlife officials barred the armed men from hunting deer illegally, the report said, adding that more than 20 accused subjected the government crew to brutal beating.

The accused snatched the mobile phones of officials, burst their vehicle tyres and beat the officials swith metal rods. The video of the incident also surfaced.
