US dollar takes a hit from Pakistani rupee

The US dollar lost 22 paisas in its value against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank trading on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
After losing 22 paisas, the greenback was being traded at Rs176.50.
The dollar closed at Rs176.72 the previous day in the interbank trading.
The money market apparently awaiting the outcome of the IMF board meeting scheduled to be held on February 2 regarding the revival of Pakistan’s loan programme. The IMF Executive Board meeting is taking place for Pakistan's sixth review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
