Raise in Lahore Zoo entry fee stuns visitors

Visiting Lahore Zoo was a cheap entertainment for the children. But not now as the price of an entry ticket, which was previously Rs100, has been increased by Rs200 to reach Rs300, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The sharp increase in ticket prices, and that too on the very first day of the new year, left people stunned and they preferred to visit other recreational centers.  

Moreover, the contract of the zoo has also been awarded to a private company for Rs500 million. 

Similarly, the visitors are now being charged Rs200 for viewing the snake.

The rates for other animals have also been raised.
