Three injured as PML-N election office bombed in Jaffarabad

There was no let-up in violence a week ahead of the general elections as three people were injured when a hand grenade was hurled near Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) election office in Jaffarabad district of Balochistan on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A large contingent of police rushed to the blast site and cordoned off the area.
The police personnel collected evidence from the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.
Unidentified motorcycle riders lodged the grenade at the PML-N office, which caused injuries to three people.
On Wednesday, a leader of Awami National Party (ANP) was shot dead in Killa Abdullah town of Balochistan. Zahoor Ahmad was sitting at party office in Mezai Adda area of Killa Abdullah when unidentified gunmen sprayed it with bullets.
Zahoor Ahmad died on the spot while a worker, identified as Moeen Khan, was injured in the attack.
Also o Wednesday, three persons were injured in a bomb explosion at Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) office at Quetta’s Saryab Road.
Hand grenades were hurled at the home of PPP candidate and former minister Mir Zahoor Buledi at Kech. The bombs exploded in the backyard of the candidate’s house. However, no loss of life was reported in the incident, they informed.
