On the instructions of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the One Window Center of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) will remain open until midnight today to accommodate property allottees who need to submit their dues, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa extended the working hours of the One Window Center from 9 PM to 12 AM, despite the holiday, to facilitate the allottees. During his visit to the One Window Operation, Randhawa met with citizens, listened to their concerns, and reviewed the facilities provided at the centre.
Randhawa has urged allottees to submit their arrears for properties purchased in auctions by midnight tonight. He warned that legal action would be taken against those who fail to comply, including the cancellation of property allotments.
Randhawa emphasized that the defaulters have been repeatedly instructed to pay their dues through advertisements and notices. He stated that legal action would follow against those who do not settle their arrears despite these reminders.
In a briefing to the Chairman, it was mentioned that newspaper advertisements and notices have been issued to fulfil legal requirements.
