Couple injured in Lahore house blast

A couple suffered serious injuries as a result of the explosion at their house in Salamatpura neighbourhood of Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Locals rushed to the scene when they heard the explosion. Habanspura police and rescue officials also reached the spot after the incident was reported.
Rescue officials shifted Amina Bibi (23) and her husband Muhammad Akbar (29) to Mayo Hospital Lahore in critical condition.
Police and forensic teams are investigating the incident to determine the nature of the explosion.
