Karachi Mayor seeks PM’s help for resolving traffic issues

Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab wrote a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday seeking his attention for resolving the traffic issues of the megacity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his letter, the Karachi Mayor wrote that the Green Line Bus Service project was to be completed by the Sindh Infrastructure Company.
From Exhibition Chowrangi to Municipal Park Jamia Cloth Market the situation is very bad, Murtaza Wahab said.
He said that poor condition and problem of traffic flow is the incomplete track of Green Line project.
Murtaza Wahab further wrote that millions of people pass through MA Jinnah Road everyday who are facing difficulties.
There are also problems within the city due to heavy traffic restrictions imposed on the Lyari Expressway project, said Murtaza Wahab.
He said that Lyari Expressway experts said that heavy traffic can run on this project.
Entry of vehicles to and from Karachi Port should be allowed on Lyari Expressway, Mayor Karachi.
Dear Prime Minister, your interest and leadership qualities changed Lahore while traffic problems in Karachi also await your attention, Mayor Karachi said.
