May 1 holiday cancelled

The Sindh’s Department of General Administration and Co-ordination has announced the cancellation of the May Day holiday, which was scheduled for tomorrow, May 1st.

The decision comes as the department gears up for the Sindh Cabinet meeting set to take place tomorrow.

As per the notification issued by the General Administration and Ordination Department, all wings and sections of the department will remain open tomorrow, contrary to the initial plans for a holiday. This decision was made in light of the Sindh Cabinet meeting scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 pm.

The decision to keep the General Administration Wing operational was approved by the Competent Authority, i.e., the Secretary (GA).

The notification directs the offices of the Additional Secretary G.A, Deputy Secretary (B&A), and Deputy Secretary (Cabinet), along with concerned sections including offices of Section Officer (Cabinet), Section (CTC), Section Officer (Budget), and Section Officer (General), to remain open and ensure their presence during office hours tomorrow.
