Tough visit visa terms: Dubai deports 70 Pakistanis 

Dubai deported 70 Pakistanis on charges of failure to abide by the new visa terms – a day after they landed the airport. An AirBlue plane took them to Dubai from Peshawar. 

A couple of weeks ago, 3,000 Pakistanis holding visit visas stranded at Dubai. According to general directorate of residency and foreigners affairs, the travellers were denied entry over non-compliance with entry requirements for tourist visa-holders. 

It clarified that the passengers from Pakistan did not have a valid hotel reservation or a relative’s reference, nor did they have a return ticket booking, as required by the immigration rules.
