Shell Pakistan sells its 77.42 percent shares to Wafi Energy

Shell Pakistan Limited has agreed to the sale of 77.42 percent of its shares to Wafi Energy (LLC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In this connection, both the firms inked an agreement on Wednesday.

Spokesman for the Shell said that the company would maintain its presence in Pakistan through licensing agreements.  

He further said that consumers would continue to have access to Shell’s Premium Fuel and Lubricant Portfolio.

The spokesman went on to say that the company was committed to providing reliable services to its consumers. “The agreement reached between the two firms for the sale of shares will become applicable after the approval of other regulators,” he concluded.
