ATC Rawalpindi grants 4-day remand for PTI protestors arrested near Liaquat Bagh

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has approved a four-day physical remand for several PTI protestors arrested during a demonstration near Liaquat Bagh. PTI leader Seemabiya Tahir Sati was also granted a four-day remand, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.
The court discharged six women and one man from the case, while four other women and four men were sent to jail on judicial remand.
Over 100 PTI members were presented in court under tight security, with a heavy police presence deployed outside the ATC.
The case was heard by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah, while defence lawyers, including Muhammad Faisal Malik, presented their arguments.
The accused were initially handed over to the police on a one-day physical remand by a duty judge. The court has ordered the accused to be produced again on the 4th of the month.
