All tyres of a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane burst at Dubai Airport as it was readying to take off for Multan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to PIA spokesperson, an engine malfunction warning was received on the way after plane took off.
PIA spokesperson said that the captain of plane skilfully used the emergency braking system to bring the aircraft to a safe stop.
Due to tyre burst, all the 172 passengers of flight were shifted to airport lounge.
The engineering department staff will depart from Karachi to Dubai on tonight's flight to fix the aircraft's malfunction, the spokesman said.
Spokesperson said that some passengers of the flight will be diverted from Dubai to Lahore via flight PK-204 tonight and some passengers will be diverted by PIA flight from Sharjah to Multan.
