Govt kicks out Ibrar ul Haq as Red Crescent Chairman

The federal government on Thursday kicked out famous singer and politician Ibrar ul Haq from the post of chairman of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the government has appointed Sardar Shahid Ahmed Khan Leghari as the new chairman of Halal-e-Ahmar Pakistan.
The sources said that President of Pakistan Arif Alvi has approved the appointment of the new chairman Sardar Shahid Leghari.
The sources said that the Federal Ministry of Health will issue a formal notification for the appointment of the new chairman of the society.
