Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Wednesday said there was no truth in reports of shifting ailing President Asif Ali Zardari to Dubai, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In his tweet, the minister said that the president was recovering fast and he would soon recover fully.

President Asif Ali Zardari was rushed to a private hospital in Karachi late Monday night after his health deteriorated, reported 24News HD TV channel.

According to sources within the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), doctors conducted necessary medical tests to assess his health.

Security had been tightened in and around the hospital, with police and law enforcement agencies deployed to ensure the safety of the president and the medical staff.

Strict security protocols were in place, preventing unauthorized individuals from accessing the hospital premises.

Just a day before his hospitalization, the president had attended Eidul Fitr prayers at Zardari House in Nawabshah.

This is not the first time President Zardari has faced health issues in recent years.

In 2024, he suffered a foot fracture while disembarking from a plane at Dubai Airport during a private visit to the United Arab Emirates.

He was immediately taken to a hospital where doctors applied a plaster to his foot and advised him to take rest for four weeks.

As a result of the injury, an official visit to China had to be postponed.
