A Walima ceremony turned chaotic in Kanganpur, a town in the Kasur district, when guests clashed violently over who would get served a meal first, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The incident occurred in the village of Baka Pur Khabbay, where the distribution of gravy (salan) sparked a heated exchange yesterday.

Eyewitnesses said the argument escalated when one guest insisted, "I will take the gravy first."

As the situation worsened, guests sitting at the table began fighting, leading to a physical brawl in which spoons and steel serving 'praats' (trays) were freely used as weapons.

The fight grew so intense that three guests were seriously injured and had to be shifted to RHC Kanganpur.

Due to the severity of their injuries, they were later referred to the hospital in Chunian for further treatment.
