Dam near Rojhan breaches, several villages submerge

Due to floods in the Indus River, the Zamindara dam of Kacha Chauhan was breached near Rojhan, resultantly 4 villages including Rasoolpur, Muslimabad, Kucha Chauhan and Kucha Mahazi were submerged, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In the border area of Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur, there is a boundary dispute in the administration of both districts, said flood victims complaining that no aid and help is coming to the flood victims, people are forced to migrate with their livestock and families.
Locals said that due to the flood, the land connection between Rahim Yar Khan and Rojhan was cut off. The displaced flood victims were also forced to live under the open sky without any helpers.
The flood victims of Rasoolpur and Kucha Chauhan along with innocent children, women and the elderly were forced to take shelter on the river bank.
