In response to a journalist’s query in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi regarding new legislation about independent candidates, Imran Khan said that “the decision of the Supreme Court has already come, you cannot ignore decisions based on justice”.
Imran further said that disobeying the decisions of the Supreme Court was illegal. PTI founder said, “The government had taken NRO before and had taken the seats and now again they want to take another NRO which we will not be accepted by the PTI.
PTI founder said, “I request the judiciary, especially the Chief Justice, it is your moral responsibility to implement the decision. These reserved seats were of PTI and will be ours”. Imran Khan said, “any contrary legislation being made by parliament against the apex court’s decision is unconstitutional. We will go to the Supreme Court against this legislation”.
