Attempt to smuggle 9kg heroin foiled at Lahore airport

Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore foiled an attempt to smuggle a heavy quantity of heroin by an Italy-bound passenger, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The ASF personnel recovered nine kg of heroin from the luggage of the passenger. The ASF handed over the passenger to the ANF for legal action, the TV channel reported.

The passenger, namely Tasawur, was trying to smuggle drugs abroad and wanted to go to Italy from Lahore via Doha.
The TV channel reported that the accused passenger hid the drugs in his luggage in a clever way but ASF jawans foiled the bid.
