DRAP allows sale of coronavirus testing kits to people 

In response to the National Command and Operation Center’s (NCOC) letter in which it had sought an opinion from the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) on the use of Rapid Antigen Test Kit, the latter has allowed sale of the kit to the people so that they could test themselves for the coronavirus at home, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

In this connection, the Authority has also issued a notification. 

It is being hoped that the DRAP’s decision will help control the spread of the virus as people will no longer need to go to laboratories for the testing which most of the times is inconvenient for them.
