PPP makes alliance with PTI, wins vice-chairmanship of Abbottabad Cantt Board

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) made an alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against the Nawaz League in Abbottabad Cantt Board elections and won the seat of vice-chairman on Wednesday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PPP, which had a single seat in the Board took the office of a vice-chairman from the PML-N who has the majority of members with five votes.

The channel report said that the PTI has five members on the board who all supported the PPP‘s candidate Fawad Ali for the vice chairmanship. The PTI has also five elected members on the board.
