PTI candidate Barrister Shoaib Shaheen on Thursday filed an application in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against what he said the harassment he and his supporters were suffering at the hands of the police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Later talking to the media, he said today he had filed an application against the police’s highhandedness and for the level-playing field. “All my supporters are being harassed. They are being picked up and threatened,” he said, adding, “I want to make this clear that I am not pitted against a particular party. In fact, I am fighting against the tactics being used by the government.”
Calling his political opponents ‘cowards’, he said they were using the police to intimidate him and his supporters. “I dare you to come forward and compete against me,” he said.
