After a passage of two days, Lahore police could not trace the attackers who tried to kill PML-N MPA Bilal Yasin. However, they sent the pistol used in the murder attempt for forensic analysis, reported 24NewsTV Channel.

Police sources informed on Sunday that the law enforcers could trace the killers by their fingerprints on the pistol after its forensic analysis.

However, they informed that there was no registration number on the pistol as it was removed. Through fingerprints, the culprits could be tracked down, the police sources said but they were apprehensive that the fingerprints too could have obliterated as local people had touched the weapon.

They added that police were also investigating from the weapon dealers.
