CAA upgrades Gwadar Airport to category ‘C’

Following improvement in its category by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), now large planes will also be able to land at Gwadar International Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The airport has now been placed in category ‘C’.
As per international standards, the airports falling in this category are suitable for all kinds of operations in all conditions.
The Authority has placed the airport in the category until 2025.
