Schools Education Dept announces no extension in winter vacations in Sindh

Schools in Sindh were opened on Monday (January 01, 2024) as the School Education Department has officially declared a circulated notification regarding the extension of winter vacation as fake.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the school education department in Sindh has promptly issued an explanatory notification to set the record straight.
The notification said the winter vacation was scheduled to conclude on December 31, 2023, and schools in the province have resumed normal operations from January 01, 2024.
In response to the fake notification, the Sindh Education Department has announced its decision to take strict action against those responsible for spreading misinformation.
Sindh School Education Department Secretary Dr Shirin Mustafa Narejo has directed authorities to invoke the Cybercrime Act against the culprits involved in spreading a fake notification of vacations.
She said the FIA Cyber Crime Wing will be approached to ensure legal action is taken against those found guilty of creating and disseminating the false notification.
