Punjab lifts ban on early market closures till Eid

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz Sharif gave Eid gifts to the populace and business community as the province's ban on closing markets and bazaars until chaand raat has been lifted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Beginning today, the decision will be valid throughout Punjab.

Markets and bazaars are exempted from the 9 a.m. closure till the chaand raat.

For the benefit of the populace and the business community, the Punjab government has made this decision.
