Khalil Ur Rehman, a notable Pakistani screenwriter of the Pakistani entertainment industry, and Sahil Adeem, an internet personality who usually appears in religious speeches appeared as a guest on the live TV show ‘Mukalma’ hosted by Ayesha Jahanzeb.
During the candid discussion about women's rights, the audience was given the privilege to ask questions from Sahil Adeem and Khalil Ur Rehman.
One of the girls from the audience addressed the taunting remarks of Sahil Adeem in which he called 95% of women ‘Jahil’ (Illiterate) and Khalil-Ur-Rehman acknowledged his stance.

The girl called out Sahil Adeem for her harsh words for the women. She pointed out the misogynistic society of Pakistan and how a single man does not have the authority to decide whether women are illiterate or not without any stats and figures.
She demanded an apology from Sahil Adeem, stating this would be taken as an offense by all women.
Sahil Adeem tried to justify his point of view and opinion by quoting Islamic verses from the Quran however, the girl pointed out how the Arabic quotes mentioned did not match his statements and were completely irrelevant to the topic at hand upon which Khalil Ur Rehman became infuriated, and replied: “Tumhein Quranic Ayat se koi masla ha? (do u have any problem with Quranic verses?)
