Khyber Mail engine catches fire near Gujrat

A fire broke out in the engine of Khyber Mail coming from Peshawar to Karachi near Gujrat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The railway staff in the bogie next to the engine called the driver after seeing smoke coming out from the engine of the moving train.

After crossing River Chenab, the train was stopped near Haripur Band Station and the fire was extinguished.

However, there was no casualty or injury reported in the incident.

Later, the train was dispatched with another engine.
