The Lollywood film industry icon Abdullah Chilli Monday passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Known for his remarkable contributions as a poet, lyricist, and filmmaker, Chilli leaves behind a legacy that has deeply influenced Pakistani cinema and music.
Chilli gave his best years to the film industry from 1965 to the mid-‘90s.
He was an institution for upcoming lyricists, with over 3,000 songs to his name.
His funeral arrangements will be announced later.
