Consulate General of Pakistan New York Tuesday informed that fifth PIA special chartered flight for stranded Pakistanis left Newark, New Jersey for Islamabad.

The passengers were seen off by Consul General Ayesha Ali and officers and staff of Pakistan Consulate New York.

Consulate General of Pakistan New York on their official twitter account @PakConsulateNY said, “The fifth PIA special charter flight for stranded Pakistanis left Newark, New Jersey for Islamabad today. The passengers were seen off by Consul General Ayesha Ali  and officers & staff of Pakistan Consulate New York. #PakistaniAmericanslead.”

In a bid to bring back Pakistanis from around the world, the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources Development started a started special flight operations and last Friday released the schedule of international flights from June 1 to June 10.
