Poisonous water being supplied in Islamabad: Report

A news report from Islamabad has revealed the supply of the poisonous water in the capital city, exposing the tall claims of civic authorities.

After the laboratory test, Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad confirmed the water contamination following which the Water Quality Control Cell officially informed the Mayor and the Chief Municipal Officer about this health emergency.
The report read that all the points in Islamabad are supplying contaminated water, putting the lives of the city-dwellers at risk.

The report said that despite several warnings over the issue the water supply authorities did not take any action.

The Director Water Supply is urged to take immediate action on this grave matter of public importance.
