Shahdara couple who took poisonous pills over domestic dispute die in hospital

Husband and wife who took poisonous pills over a domestic dispute have died at Mayo Hospital on Sunday. 

According to Edhi spokeswoman, victim couple was resident of Fazal Park, Shahdara. The victim were identified as 27-year-old Majid and his wife 25-year-old Jameela Bibi. 

The victims were shifted to Mayo hospital for emergency treatment where doctors pronounced them dead. 

Police said the incident appears to be the result of a domestic dispute, further investigations were underway in the light of family statements. After official documentation of the case, the bodies of the deceased were shifted to the mortuary.
