After three consecutive victories against India, New Zealand, and Afghanistan, Pakistan is on road to qualifying for the semi-finals and aims to cement the place in Semis with a possible win against Namibia in Abu Dhabi tonight (Tuesday), reported 24NewsHD TV.
Pakistan and Namibia will face each other for the first time in T20I in Abu Dhabi. The last time both the team faced each other was in an ODI match in the 2003 World Cup (Feb 16), which was held in South Africa.
Namibia will face its toughest test ever against Pakistan, which is still unbeaten in the Super 12 of the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup Men's.
Unbeaten so far in the T20 World Cup, Pakistan has become a strong contender for the tournament, starting off their campaign with lots of lows (due to tours abandoned by New Zealand and England in September), but hammered all the opponents so far.
For Pakistan, there are many players on which the fans will keep an eye like skipper Babar Azam, Mohamamd Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, and none other than the big hitter Asif Ali. Moreover, fans would expecting from Shaheen Shah Afridi to carry his sublime bowling form. Hassan Ali Rauf, Haris Rauf hopefully would also go for kill with their bowling craft.
On the other side, for Namibian side, fans will definitely relay on players like David Wiese, Gerhard Erasmus and pacer Ruben Trumplemann.
Moreover, fans in Pakistan are desperate for the match and expressed their prayers and support for the team. Though, they considered England as a strong opposition.
