Man shot at, injured by robbers outside Islamabad Airport

A man was seriously injured when he was fired at by three robbers not far away from Islamabad airport on Saturday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources told 24News that Sohail, who had just touched down in Islamabad from abroad, was going in a car when three men opened fire at the vehicle in a bid to stop him.

And when the car stopped, they came close to him and snatched cash from him, they added.

Sohail also lost his teeth due to firing besides receiving bruises on his face, sources said, adding that most of international flights arrived or departed at night, and the moment passengers came out of the airport they were attacked by robbers.

They told the channel that so far several such incidents had been reported from the area.
