Constable shot dead by robbers on resistance in Faisalabad

A police constable was killed by robbers over resisting a dacoity in Gulberg police station limits in Faisalabad on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, constable Nadeem, posted at Rescue 15 left for home after finishing his duty and when he reached Nader Khan Chowk, robbers stopped and tried to rob him.
On resisting, the robbers shot and injured Nadeem and escaped. The injured constable Nadeem was shifted to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries. However, the body was shifted to the mortuary, police said.
City Police Officer (CPO) Kamran Adil while taking notice of constable's killing on resistance and asked for a report from SSP Operations.
CPO Kamran Adil reached the spot ordered to form teams for the arrest of robbers.
