Bhindars join PML-Q

Punjab Assembly Speaker Parvez Elahi Tuesday stressed the need for concerted efforts to cope with the challenges being faced by the country.
The PML-Q’s doors have always been open for politicians feeling for the public, he said during a meeting with PTI’s Shahid Ikram Bhindar and Waleed Bhindar.
The Bhindars announced joining the PML-Q during the meeting that was attended by federal minister Basharat Senator Kamil Ali Agha, federal minister Tariq Bashir Cheema and lawmaker Moonis Elahi.
Welcoming the newcomers, Parvez said unity is the need of the hour. Politicians should join hands for bringing in betterment.
‘PTI plagued with favouritism’
Shahid Bhindar said the PTI has been plagued with ‘favouritism’ making it difficult to face the voters. He said he would play his part for the cause of public welfare as a PML-Q member. He also talked about family terms with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and they show affection a meeting takes place.
In March, a total of 13 political leaders joined PML-Q – a key ally of the ruling PTI. Former minister Mushtaq Ahmad Cheema, ex-MPA Deewan Ikhlaq Ahmad, Khalid Gill, Rai Qadir, former Town Nazim Sajjad Haider, Sadaqat Khan Lodhi, Ziaullah Gujjar, Rehan Kissana, Haji Abdul Qadir, Arif Chema, Aamer Waraich and Khalid Pervez joined.
