The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced to tighten the noose around unregistered beauty parlours in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday, quoting its sources.
The FBR has directed the owners of the beauty parlours to place ‘Point of Sales’ sign at their business concerns.
The sources said massage centres will also be registered and the slimming clinics will have to keep the record of their customers.
Plastic surgery clinics will also put ‘Point of Sales’ signs and cosmetics beauty clubs will also go under online registration.
According to the sources, the registration of beauty parlours will first be conducted in eight major cities of the country. Parlours and clinics with areas of less than 1,000 square feet and without air-conditioner facility will be exempted from registration, the sources further said.
