The Government College University Lahore has decided not to take entry test for admissions in intermediate classes this year as these will be made on the basis of Class IX results, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The GC University administration abolished the entry test requirement policy for intermediate admissions on the orders of Higher Education Commission which had directed all public colleges to carry out immediate admissions for intermediate classes after the matriculation results.

As per HEC directives, the GCU has completed the preparation for admissions as university will start Intermediate admissions before Eid.

It is pertinent to mention that GCU will admit more than 1000 for Intermediate. For the past few years, GCU had made the university test mandatory for intermediate admissions.
