The widow of Hamas's slain leader Ismail Haniyeh in a moving display of resilience and steadfastness welcomed the body of her martyred husband with remarkable patience and composure, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Footage shared by the account of Sarah Haniyeh, daughter of the late head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, showed the moments when his wife Hajja Umm al-Abed said goodbye to his body after arriving in Doha from Tehran.
Haniyeh’s wife, bidding farewell to her husband’s body, said in moving words: “Greet all the martyrs of Gaza, my beloved, my beloved in this world and the hereafter.”
A clip on the same account also showed the deceased’s son saying goodbye to the body.
Ismail Haniyeh, a distinguished Hamas’s leader was tragically martyred in Tehran in a bomb blast on Wednesday.
The body of the late Palestinian leader arrived Thursday evening in Doha in preparation for his funeral in the presence of the public and officials.
As his widow received her husband's body in Doha, she stood as a symbol of unwavering strength.
Her demeanor reflected not only her deep grief but also an unshakable resolve. In this moment of profound sorrow, she embodied the essence of fortitude, inspiring many with her steadfastness.
