Federal Minister for Climate Change and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) central leader Senator Sherry Rehman has said that former premier and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s statement against parliamentary democracy is condemnable, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
While expressing her views on the social media site Twitter, she said Imran Khan and his party always try to sabotage parliamentary democracy. She said that Khan is just in favor of the system the one which can bring him into power, doesn’t matter even if it is a presidential system.
She said that Khan disgraced every single citizen of Pakistan by mocking the ethical level of Pakistanis. While referring to Khan, she asked if Khan has ethical values why don’t he is quitting politics after being declared ineligible.
The minister said that political parties and nations have rendered sacrifices for democracy and constitution.
