Pakistan team won the 4th Blind T-20 World Cricket Cup crushing Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the final played in Multan on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Bangladesh blind cricket team, playing first in the final match played at Multan Stadium set a target of 140 runs and Pakistan blind cricket team achieved the target in 11th over without losing any wicket.
Playing unbeatable innings, opener Nisar Ali scored 72 runs off just 31 balls.
President felicitates team
President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday congratulated the Pakistan Blind Cricket team on winning the fourth Blind T20 World Cup by defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets.
Lauding the players for showing a fabulous game, the president congratulated the team for clinching the World Cup on the day when the world was observing the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
He said the PWDs had the potential to achieve excellence in sports and by winning the World Cup, the Pakistan Blind Cricket team brought fame to the country.
President Zardari emphasised increased inclusion of the PWDs in all sectors including sports and providing them opportunities and resources to thrive. He congratulated the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council for successfully holding the tournament and expressed his good wishes for the bright future of the Pakistan Blind Cricket team

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated the Pakistan Blind Cricket team for winning the T20 World Cup by defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets.
“The Pakistan Blind Cricket team played a fabulous game. By winning the World Cup on International Day of Persons with Disabilities, they made the entire nation proud and brought fame to Pakistan,” the prime minister said.
Reiterating the government’s resolve to promote sports, Prime Minister Shehbaz said the provision of all necessary facilities to the persons with disabilities in the playground was among the government’s priorities.
PCB Chairman Naqvi congratulates Blind Team
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Boad (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi congratulated Pakistan Blind Cricket Team on winning the T20 World Cup final.
In his message, Mohsin Naqvi said the blind team won the T20 World Cup title with a brilliant performance.
He said the blind team players played their best in the tournament and Captain Nisar Ali and Muhammad Safdar batted brilliantly and secured victory in the final.
Mohsin Naqvi further said, "I also congratulate the management of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team”.
The Blind Cricket Team worked hard with passion and won the World Cup. The players demonstrated excellent teamwork in every match of the tournament, Mohsin Naqvi said.
