Moroccan boat accident: 13 Pakistanis dead bodies' identification process completed

The process of identifying bodies of 13 Pakistan, who were killed in the Moroccan boat accident, has been completed. According to diplomatic sources, during the process of identification by Moroccan Authorities, connection of the thirteen bodies was proved to be Pakistani.
The dead bodies which were identified include Sufyan Ali, son of Javed Iqbal (passport number VF1812352), Sajjad Ali son of Muhammad Nawaz (passport no. XX1836111), Rais Afzal son of Mohammad Afzal with (passport number MJ1516091).
Qasnain Haider son of Mohammad Benaras (passport no. AA6421773). Muhammad Waqas son of Sanaullah (passport number DJ6315471), Mohammad Akram son of Ghulam Rasool (passport number DN0151754), Mohammad Arsalan son of Ramzan Khan (passport number LM4153261). Hamid Shabir son of Ghulam Shabir (passport number CZ5133683). Qaiser Iqbal son of Mohammad Iqbal (passport no GR1331413). Danish Rehman son of Mohammad Nawaz (passport no SE9154371), Muhammad Sajawal son of Rahim Deen (passport number AY5593661). Shahzad Ahmed son of Wilayat Hussain (passport number GN1162802) and Ehtsham son of Tariq Mehmood (passport number CE1170122). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that on January 15, around 44 Pakistanis were killed in illegal migrants boat accident near Dakhla port in Morocco while 22 Pakistani survivors were being repatriated.
The Pakistan Embassy in Rabat has been working closely with Moroccan authorities to oversee the relief efforts and finalize the complex repatriation procedure. The Embassy's consular team in Dakhla has been instrumental in planning the return of the survivors.
The Foreign Ministry's Crisis Management Unit (CMU) has been actively engaged in monitoring the situation, providing necessary support to the affected individuals, and maintaining active communication with their families.
National identity verification remained a critical component of this process which was completed expeditiously in coordination with the Interior Ministry and the relevant departments.
