3 human traffickers involved in Morocco boat accident arrested from Gujranwala

Police and FIA teams have arrested three human traffickers from Gujranwala region who were reported to be involved in Morocco boat accident, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
According to detail, the accused were identified as Waqas Ashraf, Rana M Farhan and Muhammad Adeel who sent the victims to Mauritania illegally and later the victims went to Morocco.
Accused Waqas Ashraf was arrested from Sambrial during a raid. The accused along with other accomplices trapped victim Amir Ali to send him to Spain by boat. During boat accident, many Pakistanis had died and few were rescued by Moroccan authorities. The name of victim Amir Ali is included in the list issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The accused took 5.3 million rupees from the family to send the victim abroad.
Another accused Rana Muhammad Farhan was arrested from Daska while third accused Muhammad Adeel was arrested from Kamonki. Accused Farhan had received 2.7 million form a local Italy for sending him to Italy for employment.
Accused Adeel received more than 5 lakh rupees from a victim for sending him to Muscat for employment. However, both accused failed to send them abroad and resultantly escaped from the area. The accused have been arrested and investigation has been started. FIA Director Gujranwala region Abdul Qadir Qamar said crackdown against accused involved in boat accident was underway.
