Talented Pakistani artist Ahmed Jahanzeb has been overwhelmed by the massive success of 'Ishq Murshid' OST.
With its enchanting melodies and heartfelt lyrics, this soundtrack has captured the hearts of millions and gained 41 million views on YouTube.
The singer has appeared in the morning show ‘Subh Se Aagey’, where he talked about the success of Ishq Murshid Ost.
To the question of when the song was being composed, what was in his mind that it would be a super hit? Ahmed responded:
“I have been getting a great response to the song and recently someone demanded a hit song like this one, I told him that there is no formula of making something hit; we can’t predict success of anything.”
He further said, “While making this song, I had no clue that it would become such a hit song. Moomal Bhabhi (drama writer) loved the song, but she said that the song has an old-school feel. We wanted to make it the title track, but somehow it didn’t become the title track.
I and Farooq Rind agreed on the point that the song should be added to the situations and moments. After we played the song in the situations, it reached another level; it became a hit.”.
He concluded by saying that he never expected it to be this big a hit. It was unpredictable, unplanned, and unthought of; we didn’t expect it to be this big.
