In response to the escalating winter conditions, the Department of Special Education Punjab has announced a modification in school hours for special children during January and February.
Commencing from January 10, special educational institutions will open their doors at 9 am, with the school day concluding at 2:00 pm. Additionally, Fridays will witness an early dismissal at 12:00 pm.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, this adjustment comes as a proactive measure to accommodate the increased severity of winter and ensure the well-being of special children during the colder months.
To further protect students from the chilly weather, the Department of Special Education has relaxed the dress code, allowing special children to wear any sweater or jacket of their choice in addition to their uniform.
The department issued an official notification detailing these changes, emphasizing the importance of adapting to the seasonal challenges to guarantee a conducive learning environment for all special children.
